Fran Marks

My name is Fran and I have been in the hair business for 25 years. I have been in the Thousand Oaks area for most of my career with the last nine years at Westlake Haircutting/Styling.

I specialize in cutting, styling, and coloring men’s hair.  20% of my clientele are women with short hair. There are great products now for men and women that cover some of the grey or all of the grey. 

I take particular care in educating my clients about the best methods in caring for both hair and scalp, with an emphasis on curly and chemically treated hair. I treat all my clients with professionalism and respect. I value the loyalty and trust in my clients and have shown credit with them for my continued success.

I accept credit cards and I take appointments Tuesday – Saturday for your convenience.

Joyce Mason

Master colorist & image creator Joyce Mason has been an accredited artist and master colorist for 33 years. She has studied with Jon Peters, Allen Edwards, Ricardo and Toni Alteri, to learn top-notch haircutting techniques. Her knowledge of coloring came from one of the best in our industry: Beth Minardi of Manardi’s  Salon in New York and the Redken Exchange in New York City. 

She spent ten years as a platform artist and style director in three salons.

Joyce works with each valued client to create the best possible image according to his or her skin tone, face shape and lifestyle. She excels in designing looks for the trendy, sophisticated, casual and elegant.

I am Cheryl and I would love to meet you and style your hair!  I started my cosmetology career in 1979 assisting Michael O'Rourke at Carlton Hair International.  My best education was working with Michael and his team of stylists.
 
I have been working as a stylist in this area since 1987, and finally found my home here, six years ago, at Westlake Haircutting/Styling!  I am constantly inspired by the great group of stylists here as well as the beautiful environment.
 
I specialize in men's and women's hair styling and coloring.  I create natural grey coverage as well as three color weaves.  I also specialize in the Global Keratin Hair Treatment as a service for those clients who want smooth and shiny hair.
 
I am offering a 15 min. consultation at no charge so we can discuss your individual hair needs.  I take evening appointments and I also accept Visa or Mastercard for your convenience.

Mary Wilson

My name is Mary Wilson and I have been a licensed Cosmetologist for the last 17 years starting my career in Redondo Beach.  I moved to Westlake Village 14 years ago and have been working at Westlake Haircutting/Styling for the last six years.

I enjoy every aspect of my work, possessing a unique and positive relationship with each and every one of my clients. My creativity and professionalism has been the foundation of my business philosophy.

My specialties include haircutting and hair coloring, excelling in weaving and color correction.  I use only the finest in hair color and styling products.

I also specialize in the Brazilian Global Keratin treatment.  It is one of the most effective treatments for smoothing frizzy and damaged hair, making it look very healthy, smooth and shiny.  It actually improves the condition of the hair and in most cases will relax much of the natural curl for 4 to 6 months.
